puerto peñasco
Puerto Peñasco also known as Rocky Point, is a small fishing village in Northern Mexico off the Sea of Cortez famous for its shrimp. Once a sleepy village, Rocky Point had housed the likes of Al Capone, as the mobster looked to get into the hotel business in Rocky Point during the days of prohibition. Today, Puerto Peñasco is in the midst of a transformation into a Mexican resort destination.
For many years American travelers have flocked to Rocky Point beaches to enjoy the Sea of Cortez and the quiet white sandy beaches that surround it. Slowly, word spread about the beauty of Rocky Point Mexico and more and more travelers have been coming to Rocky Point.
